Sport is for everyone.
At RPC, wheelchair padel is a real part of the club. Accessible courts, dedicated instructors and sessions open to all levels.
What it is
Same court.
Same game.
Since September 2023, with the Wheelchair Project, we have opened the doors of padel to people with motor disabilities. You play on the same courts as traditional padel, with slightly adapted rules.
We organise individual lessons, group sessions and mixed matches, because the best part is playing together. The courts are accessible from the entrance to the changing rooms and we provide dedicated padel wheelchairs to try, for anyone who wants to start without their own equipment. Together with ConsorzioBlu and the Gruppo Sportivo Unità Spinale we also support anyone who wants to move on to competition.
The programme
Introductory lesson
A one-to-one session with a trained instructor. To try it, understand it, see how it feels on court.
Weekly course
One fixed session a week, in a small group. Technique, mobility, matches.
Mixed matches
Playing sessions with other club players. For people who've played for a while and are looking for partners.

Milestones
A project
that grows.
In a few years the Wheelchair Project has grown: more players, more tournaments, more people coming to wheelchair padel for the first time. We want to keep going, so that padel really is a sport for everyone.
